From Pong 'oh no!' to Pongo
I reached out to Kari to help with my Dalmatian, Pongo. Pongo is very reactive on a leash and would pull non stop, bark at other dogs, and lunge at bikes. As a soon to be new Mom I wanted to be able to walk Pongo and a baby stroller at the same time. I also wanted people to see Pongo as I do, a family friendly dog who loves his people and walks.
Kari worked with me and Pongo to help with his diet, anxiety, and walking habits. Kari helped me understand why Pongo was reacting the way he was and helped me address the problems from the root. She is patient and very understanding. She always was positive and helpful when it came to Pongo. She saw Pongo as I did and it made the training so much easier.
After our sessions, Pongo has improved his walking by leaps and bounds. He now walks next to me with little to no pulling. We have made major improvements on not barking at other dogs or lunging. Pongo still has his moment but we are continuing to work on his behavior with training Kari taught me. I have high hopes for Pongo as we continue to work together.
